9.9㎡ の コスモロジー
蛍が棲息する環境づくりを試みた回遊式庭園と、修復を監修した登録有形文化財の離れに隣接し、文脈的関連性を持つように配置されている。床面積を最小限にし、無限大を志向する「無有の空間（茶室）と「明鏡の空間」(湯浴室）で構成された9.9㎡(6畳）の多元性、多様性を持つ小宇宙である。意図的にヒューマンスケールよりも小さめに設計された空間は、体験者の五感を刺激し、人間本来の空間に対する感覚を呼び覚ます。利用者は所作が有る程度、制限されているがゆえに、思考を内面の宇宙へと響かせることを促される。私たちは真の豊かさは人間の内面の在り様を映す空間であると定義する。 |
Condensed space
A bathhouse that consists of a tesroom and bathroom in a premise of long-established
inn expression of a cosmology of 9.9㎡”. The space was intentionally designed
at a slightly smaller than human scale and it stimulates users’ all senses
and awakens their intrinsic sensibility for space. Due to users’ actions
is limited to some extent; it urges them to use their imagination to understand
the depth and width of their inner cosmos. |
